Welcome to the bothand website.

We are back at home in Midland and running an updated and hopefully more useful site, with more info about what we’re doing, where we’re going, and how God has been working in the lives of the students and staff we work with at Worldview Academy.

We are passionate about seeing God work in the lives of people, and we currently do that by serving with Worldview.  We are also passionate about the truth of Scripture, and we firmly believe in that there is power in the spoken and written word of God.

Contrary to the casual view of many Christians, God is not a God of balance, but a God of extremes.  He is loving and wrathful. He is three and yet only one.  He is perfect in justice, yet forgives sins.  Part of the great beauty of God’s word is his insistence upon confounding the wisdom of man.  Our website is called bothand because of our belief that God is both unsearchable, yet incredibly personal.  God is a God of paradox, and he is alive and active in our world.  As we wade through the depths of God’s character in Scripture and in our experiences, we seek to teach others to do the same.
